We offer a full range of Tree Surgery services covering all of the South West. Including Tree Pruning, Tree Felling, Tree Removal, Stump Grinding, Wood Shredding and Storm Damage. Our professional teams will safely remove and dispose on any sized tree. Commercial or domestic.

Tree Surgery

After a tree is cut down, you are often left with an unsightly stump where the tree used to stand. This not only ruins the aesthetic appeal of an area, but could also be a potential hazard if it’s obstructing walkways. If you have been left with the stump or have just taken on land where stumps are still present, then you will probably find it necessary to remove the stump. If this is the case, then you have two options: full stump removal or stump grinding. Princes can ensure the safe, easy removal of the stump.

Storm Damage

Tree felling is not a service we like to emphasise, but we do realise that all trees will have to be felled at some stage due to death or structural integrity being compromised. We will at all times attempt to plant another sizeable tree in place of one being felled for future generations. Often our felling involves operating in tight and complex surroundings so we dismantle the tree carefully and in manageable sections to ensure a smooth operation.

Tree Pruning

On mature trees, pruning is required to remove dead and dying branches to maintain tree health and safety. This type of pruning is referred to as cleaning. Research has now documented that thinning, the removal of live branches to reduce crown density, significantly reduces wind resistance and potential storm damage. Thinning should only be done on trees where the crown is “too dense.”
