Handy tips once Princes have laid your new lawn:

• Avoid walking on your new lawn for a couple weeks while the roots bed themselves into their new home.

​

• On a daily basis for the first two weeks – water your new lawn thoroughly & evenly. This will avoid & reduce the risk of shrinkage whilst assisting in the speedy establishment of  new healthy roots.

​

• After 2 – 3 weeks pull a light roller over the new lawn, both longways & crossways.

​

• When the lawn appears to be establishing itself mow the lawn with blades set quite high. Do not risk the urge of cutting your lawn too tight or close at this early stage. New lawns need cutting high for the first few months, then gradually reduce the cut height as the months progress. You can cut your lawn tighter in the next growing season.
